About the Course
This professional development session for K-5 dual language educators focuses on strengthening reading fluency in Spanish through engaging, evidence-based practices. Participants will explore strategies such as providing opportunities for repeated reading of familiar texts, using guided reading groups to support fluency at students’ individual levels, and encouraging reading aloud in a safe, supportive environment to build confidence and expression. Teachers will gain practical tools to help students become fluent, confident readers. The presentation is a video recording of a synchronous session and includes all the resources offered to educators.Â
